Sumed International (UK) Ltd (Sumed) has been appointed contractor for Cumbria County Council for service and repair of specialised equipment from 1st April 2021. The contract is for a period of three years. Activity involves equipment servicing and repairs for specialist lifts, hoists and specialised equipment owned by Cumbria County Council.
Sumed is a leading supplier of quality branded products and services to healthcare professionals designed for the healing and maintenance of healthy skin. Sumed’s Leycare division which provides services to Lancashire County Council, has demonstrated good growth during 2020.
Commenting, Graham Collyer, Sumed’s Executive Chairman said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract. We have seen a period of good sales growth in 2020, but in the challenging times presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, service related activity has been a focus for us”
